Today We Remember


The sun shines brightly over our town today

The sky is blue

And the wind is low

The streets are quiet

And the bears are hidden

The birds are perched

And the vehicles are parked

Today we remember

We remember the sacrifices made so many years ago

The lives that were lost and the lives that were cherished

So many of us have been taught about this day

The day the world went silent

The day the last solider fell

Today we remember

We remember November 11th

Today is our remembrance day

" I see my path, but I don't know where it leads. Not knowing where I'm going is what inspires me to travel it" What else is there to do on a sunny afternoon when you are done work? Well my boss thought it would be nice and fun to take the crew snorkelling after our long hard day of doing tours. So Jamie, Remi and I all got ready in our snorkelling gear which was complete with a 7mm wet suit (2 pieces) a hood, gloves, boots and goggles. Good thing the idea of the snorkelling wasn’t to move around a lot or make a fashion statement because these wetsuits were awkward and definatley not fashion worthy. 35 months, 910 weeks, and countless hours....roughly

That's how long I have been in post secondary school, and in just a few short weeks....13 to be exact, it will all be over. Graduation is approaching, but unlike my high school graduation, and my college graduation, my graduation from the University of Lethbridge is sure to be the most important. Here I Go Again> Churchill 2012

Sunday June 10 th 2012 I arrived once again in Churchill Manitoba. But this time I knew it was going to be a different experience due to a few things that were said and done close to the end of time here last year between a certain individual and I, however the point of this blog is not to dwell on the fact that it happened instead rather the point of this blog is for me to be able to share my adventures with those whom care to check it out. Not to mention it is way easier than writing in a journal J So as I said I arrived on June 10 th and right away was welcomed with a warm reception. I am once again working for Sea North Tours however this time the company is under new ownership as Mike and Doreen Macri sold the company at the beginning of this year.
